PINK-A BOO, CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

Hey loves, I know its been long since I blogged but honestly life happened juggling between school and work took a toil on me, its been crazy trying to manage both work and school deadlines. Am happy to be back to blogging and finally finding a balance between the three, expect more content in the next coming weeks. Am feeling so insipired and in the mood to create more.

As we all know October is Breast Cancer awareness month which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. The color pink in generall is a symbol of breast cancer awareness it identifies the wearer and expresses moral support for women with breast cancer.

Its quite disheartening that most women in Kenya dont take cancer screening seriously, even though cervical cancer and breast cancer awareness is a leading cause of death among women in Kenya. I personally didn’t even see the need to go for screening, typically african i mostly assumed that if it dont itch don’t scratch it. For the longest time I didnt bother because i actually that it would cost an arm and leg for just screening which I assume most ladies presume, I did some research and came with centres which offer screening at affordable or maybe for free;

I love dressing up every year to give moral support to women with breast cancer and also to walk with someone who has lost their loved one through this diseae. I decided to style this cute dress with black strappy snadals, i wanted to keep it as minimal as possible. What do you guys think of this look?
