HEALTHY SMOOTHIE’S TO MAKE AT HOME DURING QUARANTINE

A New week, a new blogpost, In the midst of the ongoing pandemic which is Covid 19 which a repiratory illness we need to take care of ourselves and our loved one’s by observing and practising some hygiene, which including washing our hands with soap and water for 40seconds and sanitazing both surfaces and hands.

The vaccine or cure is yet to be found and medics are advising to take immune boosting foods; rich in Vitamin C. Eating foods rich in Vitamin C will help your body fight the virus. So i decide to try and share some healthy smoothies that can help you boost your immune and are easily available can be found in any grocery market or sokoni or at any mama mboga.

1.THE GREEN SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS;

1.Spinach, Green Apple, Mint, Pineapple, Avocado(1/2 if it’s for more than two people), Ginger

2. Yellow Smoothie

INGREDIENTS; Bananas, Orange, Chia Seeds, Mango, Pawpaw

3.RED BERRY SMOOTHIE;

Ingredients; Strawberries, Beetroot, Raspberries, Banana, Pineapple

4. ORANGE SMOOTHIE;

Ingredients; Oranges, carrot, turmeric, chia seeds. Not one  my favorites but its so healthy and detoxifies really well.
